Ya está aquí uno de los acontecimientos internacionales más importantes del panorama del Jazz internacional gracias a @livenowglobal. Roma Jazz Festival se celebrará entre el próximo 29 de Octubre y 21 de Noviembre de 2020.

Roberto Fonseca, pianista cubano, anteriormente de Buena Vista Social Club, presenta su tercer álbum "Yesun". En este proyecto combina una multitud de estilos, -desde jazz a música clásica, desde Rap a Funk a Reggaeton y Electrónica-, rompiendo cualquier convención. El concierto la hará junto con el percusionista Raúl Herrera y el bajista Yandy Martínez Rodríguez. "Yesun" es un juego de palabras que simboliza el agua. El agua extraída del pozo de la tradición afrocubana y regresó con un toque moderno y con visión de futuro. De la misma manera que el agua, el portador de la vida, cambia su forma, por lo que la música de Fonseca fluye de lo antiguo a lo moderno, tejiendo ritmos, palabras habladas, teclados y la voz resonante de Roberto, presentando una Cuba sin fronteras.ente anti-pop, sabe de oxígeno y de verdad.

SINOPSIS ROMA JAZZ FESTIVAL

Now in its 44th edition, the Roma Jazz Festival returns, one of the most important international events dedicated to jazz and its infinite trajectories. The festival, conceived and organized by the IMF Foundation in co-production with the Musica per Roma Foundation, will take place from 29 October to 20 November at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the Casa del Jazz and the Monk Club.
 
Absolute premieres, international guests and prominent Italian artists, historical names and new revelations.
 
After Jazz it is now in 2018 and No Borders in 2019, the theme of this edition is Jazz for Change. A necessary change in a world afflicted by the climate emergency, by the questioning of civil rights and by the increasingly invasive regurgitation of racism and nationalism, to which movements such as Black Lives Matter and Climate for Change are reacting strongly.
 
The pandemic has shown us how it is of strategic importance to change our lifestyle, the approach with others, the relationship with the environment and rethink urban fabrics, imagine new ways of living spaces but also make the most of potential offered by new technologies.
