SINOPSIS

En la tarde del 22 de febrero de 1942, en su exilio brasileño, el famoso escritor aus¬triaco, Stefan Zweig, se quitó la vida en compañía de su segunda esposa y secretaria, Lotte Altmann, 27 años más joven que él.
‘Una hora en la vida de Stefan Zweig’ recrea, en clave de ficción, los últimos momen¬tos del autor de ‘Carta de una desconocida’. Mientras el matrimonio Zweig prepara, con calculada meticulosidad, todos los detalles de su suicidio, un exiliado judío, recién llegado de Europa, se presenta en la casa. ¿Quién es este extraño e inoportuno visitante? ¿Cuál es su secreto? ¿Es realmente judío o un agente al servicio de los nazis? Y, sobre todo, ¿por qué muestra ese indisimulado interés por una lámina de William Blake que durante años perteneció a Stefan Zweig?
