Corría el lejano año 2014 cuando la emisora de radio Cadena Ser confió sorprendentemente en David Broncanopara encargarse de un nuevo programa. Sin embargo, el presupuesto fue tan exiguo que solo le dio para contratar a dos señores mayores con problemas con el alcohol: Quequé e Ignatius.

Contra todo pronóstico, lo que comenzó siendo un programa especial para la temporada estival acabó convirtiéndose en un espacio diario. En torno a él, se reunía lo más sagrado del grupo de población con evidentes problemas de aceptación social. Ante tal éxito, estas tres jóvenes promesas de la comedia se preguntaron cómo podrían perpetuar su estafa.

De esta manera ha nacido La vida moderna, un espectáculo de humor no apto para cardíacos.
