Bajo el seudónimo de El Niño de la Hipoteca, se esconde Guiu Cortés, un personaje adicto al optimismo, nacido en 1982 en Barcelona, que lo único que intenta es componer algunas canciones en las que plasmar sus penas y alegrías.

Conocido como el primer cantautuber (cantautor en YouTube), El niño de la Hipoteca, antes de comenzar con su andadura digital, recorría el mundo cantando canciones. Nadie le escuchaba por lo que, aprovechando la gran revolución tecnológica que se acontece en estos últimos tiempos, decidió grabar vídeos caseros. A partir de ellos ha ganando multitud de seguidores que apoyan su carrera y que le hacen agotar entradas en muchas de las ciudades españolas que visita.

Su estilo musical tiene grandes influencias de rock, folk y punk, creando así un nuevo género musical que el propio artista ha bautizado como Rockfolkpunk de autor, en el que mezcla la música de cantautor con la pachanga. Sus vídeos musicales están elaborados por él mismo. Se caracterizan por las caricaturas y grandes coloridos. Puedes ver más en su canal de YouTube
