Candilejas Producciones presenta este montaje teatral en la versión inédita de Óscar Bacallado.

Pocos hay que no conozcan El extraño caso del Dr. Jekyll y Mr. Hyde, una historia con más de 100 años e innumerables adaptaciones. Desde Candilejas han apostado por una nueva versión de Óscar Bacallado de la Cruz, que cambia la perspectiva respecto a la narración clásica eliminando lo "extraño" de este caso y, sin dejar de lado el relato original, redescubre la historia partiendo de la propia psicología del Dr. Jekyll y del autor, Robert Louis Stevenson.

SINOPSIS

“Hace tiempo que vengo experimentando una creciente preocupación por el estado de mi estimado amigo Henry Jekyll. El otrora sociable y bien relacionado doctor comenzó tiempo atrás una lenta deriva que se fue manifestando con crecientes anómalos y ausencias cada vez más prolongadas, que, finalmente, lo ha l llevado a vivir en su despacho prácticamente aislado del mundo. Hoy, Poole, el mayordomo de Jekyll, me ha hecho llamar de manera urgente, mientras me dispongo para dirigirme a su casa, no puedo evitar sentirme invadido por la sensación de que algo terrible le ha sucedido a mi buen amigo, el Dr. Jekyll.”
